1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging NPS Logistics (“we”, “us”, “our”) for any transportation, freight or logistics service, you (“customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Scope of Services
NPS Logistics provides Full Truck Load (FTL), Part Truck Load (PTL), road transport, rail freight, air cargo and sea freight services within India and internationally, as agreed upon in each individual service order or contract.
3. Booking and Quotations
All freight quotations are estimates based on the information provided by the customer, including cargo weight, dimensions, origin, destination and mode of transport. Final charges may vary based on actual cargo details verified at pickup.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate shipment information, ensuring goods are properly packaged, and complying with all applicable laws regarding the transport of your goods, including restrictions on hazardous or prohibited materials.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified at the time of booking or in the service agreement. Delayed payments may attract additional charges. Services may be suspended for accounts with outstanding dues beyond the agreed credit period.
6. Liability and Insurance
While we take every precaution to handle cargo safely, our liability for loss or damage is limited as per the applicable Carriage by Road/Rail/Air/Sea regulations and the specific insurance coverage opted for the shipment. Customers are encouraged to insure high-value cargo.
7. Delays
Estimated delivery timelines are indicative and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including weather, traffic, regulatory checks, strikes or force majeure events. NPS Logistics is not liable for delays caused by such factors.
8. Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be made prior to dispatch. Cancellation charges may apply depending on the stage of booking and any resources already committed to the shipment.
9. Claims Procedure
Any claims for loss, damage or shortage must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by relevant documentation (invoice, packing list, photographs). Claims reported after this period may not be entertained.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
11. Amendments
NPS Logistics reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
